Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd. Vacancy Details
TMB has not disclosed a fixed number of vacancies; positions will be filled based on the Bank's operational requirement across branches and regions pan-India. Candidates will be considered for one of the two cadres based on their years of relevant banking experience.

The selected officers will be responsible for a wide range of duties including customer acquisition, CASA and loan product promotion, cross-selling of third-party products, KYC compliance, portfolio servicing, field visits, SMA account monitoring (SMA 0/1/2), credit background assessment (CIBIL, CRILC, Account Aggregator), property/collateral verification (Proplegit — applicable for Home Loans), and end-to-end customer onboarding.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Applicants must hold a Graduation or Post Graduation degree (First Class — minimum 60% marks) in any discipline, completed under the regular (full-time) stream from a university recognised by the UGC or relevant statutory authority. Eligibility will be assessed as on 30 April 2026.
Experience
- Manager Cadre: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a banking institution, specifically in loan sourcing, loan processing, MSME finance, or retail lending.
- Assistant Manager Cadre: Minimum 2 years of relevant banking experience in the same domains as above.
Age Limit
Candidates must not exceed 35 years of age as on 30 April 2026. Age relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) will be granted in accordance with Government of India guidelines and the Bank's internal policy.
Nationality & Other Conditions
- Only Indian Citizens are eligible to apply.
- No pending vigilance proceedings or adverse remarks from RBI or any statutory/regulatory authority should be on record against the applicant.
Selection Process
The selection methodology for this recruitment is straightforward and merit-based:
- Shortlisting: Applications will be screened based on declared eligibility criteria. TMB reserves the right to shortlist candidates at its discretion.
