Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil all eligibility conditions as on the cut-off date of 30 April 2026. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
- Educational Qualification: A full-time Graduation or Degree in Agriculture or any allied discipline (such as Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Dairy Science, or Agricultural Engineering) from a UGC-recognised university, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Candidates with specialisations in the above-mentioned allied fields will receive preference during the selection process.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in agricultural lending or rural banking is mandatory. This experience must be gained with Scheduled Commercial Banks, Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), NABARD, or any recognised financial institution.
- Age Limit: Applicants must not exceed 30 years of age as on 30 April 2026. Relaxations in the upper age limit are available for SC/ST/OBC and PwBD candidates in accordance with Government of India guidelines.
- Computer Proficiency: Working knowledge of MS Office applications and core banking software will be treated as an added advantage.
- Prior Employment: Candidates currently serving in other banks or financial institutions must provide a valid relieving letter and experience certificates at the time of interview or document verification.
