The Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), the apex financial institution dedicated to the promotion and development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in India, has released its Specialist Officers Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. 01/2026-27. A total of 5 specialist positions are being filled on a contract basis across domains including data analytics, program design, data privacy, IT audit, and enterprise-level data leadership. Eligibility Criteria
Impact Assessment Analyst (IAA)
- Education: Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, Data Science, or a comparable quantitative/analytical field.
- Desirable: Certifications or academic training in impact evaluation, econometrics, data analytics, or development economics.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on work in impact measurement, analytics, development finance institutions (DFIs), consulting, or the development sector.
Senior Program Designer (SPD)
- Education: Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Development Studies, Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Desirable: Prior exposure to development finance or public systems design; certifications in policy, strategy, or development programs.
- Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in program design, strategy formulation, consulting, or DFI operations.
Consent Manager (CM)
- Education: Graduate degree in IT, Computer Science, Law, Data Governance, or Business Administration. Postgraduate qualification in Law, Data Privacy, IT, or Management is desirable.
- Desirable Certifications: CIPP/A, CIPP/E, CIPM, DCPP, DCPLA, or equivalent data privacy/governance credentials.
- Experience: A total of 10 years managing IT applications or information risk, including at least 4 years in data privacy, IT audit, compliance, or data governance (preferably in banks, NBFCs, DFIs, or fintechs) and at least 2 years in information security risk management.
Data Auditor (DA)
- Education: Graduate degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Law, or Risk Management. Postgraduate degree in Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, Law (LLB/LLM), or Data Governance is desirable.
- Desirable Certifications: CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CIPM, DCPP/DCPLA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISA, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in data privacy, IT audit, risk/compliance, or data governance, with at least 5 years specifically in IT auditing within regulated financial environments.
Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO)
- Education: Graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Management, or a related technical field, along with a postgraduate qualification such as M.Tech, M.Stat, M.Sc (Data Science/Analytics), or equivalent.
- Desirable Certifications: Credentials in data management, AI/ML, analytics, or information governance.
- Experience: 18 or more years of experience in financial services, consulting, or technology sectors, including a minimum of 8 years in senior leadership positions driving data strategy, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
