Vacancy Details
A total of 100 vacancies have been notified for the post of Trade Finance Officer (MMGS-II), comprising 88 regular vacancies and 12 backlog vacancies. Horizontal reservations for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are applicable and are included within the overall category-wise vacancies. EWS vacancies are tentative and subject to Government of India directives and any pending litigation.

Indicative posting locations are Hyderabad and Kolkata; however, selected officers may be deployed at any branch or office across India as per the Bank's operational requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Mandatory: A Graduate degree in any discipline from a Government-recognised University or Institution, along with a valid Certification in Forex Operations from IIBF (certificate must be dated on or before 30 April 2026).
- Preferred (added advantage): Holding a Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS), Certificate in Trade Finance, or Certificate in International Banking — all dated on or before 30 April 2026 — will be considered favourably.
Work Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in Trade Finance processing in a Supervisory or Official capacity within any Scheduled Commercial Bank is mandatory.
- Teaching or training assignments will not be counted towards the required experience.
- The experience certificate issued by the employer must explicitly confirm the candidate's involvement in the relevant Trade Finance domain.
Key Skills
Candidates are expected to possess strong communication, presentation, and processing capabilities suited to a Trade Finance specialist role.

Age is calculated as on 30 April 2026. Cumulative age relaxation is not permitted under any circumstances.

Pay Scale
Officers selected for the Trade Finance Officer (MMGS-II) role will be placed on the pay scale of Rs. 64,820 – 2,340/1 – 67,160 – 2,680/10 – 93,960, along with other allowances and benefits as admissible under SBI's service regulations for Specialist Cadre Officers.
Selection Process
