Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Mandatory: MBBS degree from a university or institution recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or a State Medical Council.
- Preferred: Postgraduate Diploma or a PG Degree such as MD/MS or equivalent.
Work Experience (reckoned as on 31.05.2026)
- Candidates holding only an MBBS degree must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Practitioner, computed from the date of registration with the NMC or State Medical Council.
- Candidates with a postgraduate degree must have at least 3 years of General Practitioner experience from the date of registration.
- Important: Internship tenure and teaching/training assignments will not be considered toward the experience requirement.
