Age relaxation is applicable as follows: SC/ST candidates receive a relaxation of 5 years; OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates receive 3 years; Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) receive 10 years; Ex-Servicemen with at least 5 years of continuous military service receive 5 years; and individuals affected by the 1984 riots are also eligible for 5 years of relaxation.
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Manager – Cloud CoE (MMGS II): Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or an equivalent discipline from a GoI/UGC/AICTE-recognised institution. Minimum 4 years of post-qualification IT/BFSI experience, with at least 2 years specifically in cloud administration or cloud engineering. Preferred certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or Google Cloud Engineer.
- Manager – AI Engineers (MMGS II): Full-time B.E./B.Tech in CS, IT, Electronics, Data Science, AI, or ML — OR — full-time MCA/M.Tech in AI, ML, Data Science, CS, or a related field from a recognised institution. A valid professional certification in AI, ML, Deep Learning, Data Science, or Generative AI is also mandatory. Work experience: Minimum 6 years (post B.E./B.Tech/MCA) or 5 years (post M.Tech) in AI/ML development, Data Science, or Advanced Analytics, including at least 2 years in a leadership or project management capacity.
- Senior Manager – Cloud CoE (MMGS III): Same academic qualification as the Manager – Cloud CoE role. Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience in IT/BFSI, with at least 3 years in cloud architecture or engineering. Preferred certifications include AWS Solutions Architect (Professional), Azure Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or Google Cloud Engineer.
- Senior Manager – AI Engineers (MMGS III): Same academic qualification and mandatory AI certification as the Manager – AI Engineers role. Minimum 4 years (post B.E./B.Tech/MCA) of relevant experience in AI/ML or Data Science domains, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Chief Manager – Cloud CoE (SMGS IV): Same academic qualification as Cloud CoE posts. Senior-level cloud architecture/engineering experience required — refer to the official notification for complete experience specifications.
Selection Process
Punjab & Sind Bank is expected to adopt a shortlisting and personal interview-based selection methodology for these contractual roles. Candidates are likely to be screened on the basis of their qualification, certifications, and relevant work experience, followed by an interview conducted by the bank's selection panel. The bank reserves the right to raise minimum eligibility standards to manage the number of candidates called for interview.
