Overview
Punjab & Sind Bank (PSB), a Government of India Undertaking operating under its HRD Department in New Delhi, has launched a recruitment drive to engage 635 Apprentices across 29 States and Union Territories of India. The engagement is governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961 and offers candidates a structured 12-month on-the-job training experience within the Bank's branch network. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates seeking hands-on exposure to banking operations in a public sector environment.
Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,300/- and will undergo training from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on working days. No daily allowance, conveyance, or travelling allowance is payable in addition to the stipend. The training duration is fixed at 12 months and candidates must mandatorily complete their profile on both the NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) before submitting their application on PSB's official website.
