The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has announced its Student Intern Recruitment 2026, inviting applications for 39 contractual internship positions across India. This is an excellent opportunity for postgraduate and integrated-course students from disciplines such as Agriculture, Agribusiness, Economics, Social Sciences, and Management to gain hands-on experience with one of India's premier development finance institutions. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Applicants must be pursuing or have completed any of the following programmes from a recognised institute or university of repute:

  • Post-graduate degree or PGDM — either completed or currently in the 1st year
  • 5-year integrated degree programmes — either completed or currently in the 4th year

Eligible disciplines include Agriculture and allied fields (such as Veterinary Sciences and Fisheries), Agribusiness, Economics, Agri-economics, Social Sciences, and Management. Indian students enrolled in overseas institutions are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

Candidates are advised to refer to the official NABARD notification for age-related eligibility conditions and applicable relaxations.

Application Fee

No application fee is applicable for any category of applicants.

Selection Process

NABARD will follow a two-stage shortlisting and evaluation process:

  1. Weighted Score System: Candidates will be ranked based on a composite score derived from academic performance in Class 10, Class 12, and Graduation.
  2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, the outcome of which will determine final selection.
