The Cooperative Service Examination Board (CSEB), Kerala has announced a significant recruitment drive for 2026, inviting online applications for 133 posts spread across cooperative banks and societies in the state. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Secretary (15/2026): Candidates must hold a degree along with HDC&BM and 7 years of experience as Accountant or above in a cooperative bank; OR B.Sc. (Co-operation & Banking) from an Agricultural University with 5 years of relevant experience; OR MBA / M.Com (Finance) / Chartered Accountant with 3 years of banking sector experience along with required cooperative qualifications; OR B.Com (Co-operation) with 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Assistant Secretary / Chief Accountant (16/2026): As specified in the respective notification — generally requires graduation-level qualifications in commerce or related fields with cooperative banking experience.
  • Junior Clerk / Cashier (17/2026, 18/2026, 19/2026): B.Com or equivalent graduation; specific cooperative diploma qualifications may apply as per the bank grade.
  • System Administrator (20/2026): Diploma or degree in Computer Science / IT or related technical disciplines.
  • Data Entry Operator (21/2026): Graduation-level qualification with requisite typing/computer skills as per the notification.

Age Limit (as on January 1, 2026)

Candidates may apply to multiple banks or societies under a single advertisement by paying the applicable additional fee per institution. No postal applications will be accepted.

Selection Process

Recruitment will follow a two-stage process:

  1. Written Examination: A 100-question, 100-mark paper conducted by CSEB. Posts under Advertisement Nos. 15, 16, 20, and 21 will be assessed via an online (computer-based) examination, while Posts under Advt. Nos. 17, 18, and 19 (Junior Clerk categories) will be evaluated through an OMR-based (offline) examination.
  2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear before the respective cooperative institution for an interview worth a maximum of 20 marks. The minimum qualifying threshold is 4 marks in the written exam (of the 20 marks allocated per institution), while the effective interview cutoff stands at 16 out of 20 marks.

  2. First-time users must complete the One Time Registration (OTR) before proceeding with the application.
  3. Returning applicants can log in with their existing credentials and select the relevant advertisement number.
  4. Read the complete notification for your chosen post carefully before filling in the form.
  5. Enter all required personal, educational, and professional details accurately.
  6. Pay the prescribed examination fee online (inclusive of 18% GST) as per your category.
  7. Submit the application and download or print a copy from the 'My Application' section for future reference.
  8. The deadline for online submission is June 30, 2026. Applications received by post or any other offline mode will not be entertained under any circumstances.
