Important: Only full-time, permanent employment experience is counted. Experience through staffing agencies, contractual arrangements, or outsourced payroll will not be considered. Stints of less than 6 months in any organisation will also not be reckoned.

Selection Process

While the official notification does not specify a detailed selection methodology, IDBI Bank typically adopts a multi-stage process for Specialist Officer recruitment that may include:

  • Shortlisting of applications based on eligibility criteria and relevant experience.
  • Online Written Test / Interview to assess domain knowledge and banking acumen.
  • Personal Interview conducted by a panel of senior bank officials.
  • Document Verification and pre-appointment medical examination.

The Bank reserves the right to raise the eligibility bar for shortlisting if the volume of applications warrants it. Final selection will be purely on merit as determined by the Bank.
