The Himachal Pradesh State Co-operative Bank Ltd. (HPSCB), headquartered at The Mall, Shimla (HP) – 171001, has invited applications for 91 vacancies at the Junior Clerk level on a regular basis. This recruitment is conducted in partnership with IBPS, Mumbai, which will administer the online examination. Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: A Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university is required.
  • Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 45 years of age as on 01 January 2026. Age relaxation is available for reserved category candidates as per applicable HPSCB rules.
  • Experience Requirement: Candidates applying under the PACS Quota must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant cooperative society experience, while those under the OCS Quota must possess at least 5 years of such experience. All experience certificates must be issued by the concerned Inspector of Cooperative Societies and duly countersigned by the Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies of Himachal Pradesh. Supporting documents — including a copy of the managing committee resolution for initial appointment and relevant pages of statutory audit reports — must accompany the certificate.
  • Bonafide Himachali Status: Mandatory for all candidates claiming reserved category benefits (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Ex-SM, IRDP, WFF, PwBD).
  • OBC Non-Creamy Layer: OBC applicants must hold a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate from a competent authority.
  • Defaulter Clause: Applicants must confirm they are not directly or indirectly classified as defaulters of their cooperative society.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be carried out through the following stages:

  1. Online Examination: Conducted by IBPS, Mumbai. The test carries 150 marks with a duration of 150 minutes. No personal interview will be held.
  2. Document Verification / Scrutiny: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original certificates, including educational qualifications, experience certificates, category documents, and other mandatory credentials.
