Overview

The Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank), India's premier institution dedicated to financing, facilitating, and promoting the country's international trade, has launched a direct recruitment drive for the post of Deputy Manager (Information Security) under Advertisement No. HRM/DM/2026-27/03. A total of 4 vacancies are on offer at the Grade/Scale of Deputy Manager (I). Successful candidates will be placed in the Officers Cadre (Group A) on a regular and permanent basis, with the possibility of posting at any of the Bank's offices across India or, with consent, at its offices abroad. Candidates who qualify are required to execute a personal bond of Rs. 3 lakh, committing to serve the Bank for a minimum period of 5 years from the date of joining.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Only Indian Citizens are eligible to apply for this recruitment.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must hold a full-time B.E., B.Tech., M.Tech., M.E., or M.C.A. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics & Communication from a University or Institution recognised/approved by the Government of India, AICTE, or UGC. A minimum aggregate of 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) is mandatory. Candidates whose results are expressed in CGPA must furnish a conversion certificate from the Head of the Institution or Controller of Examinations if the equivalent percentage is not explicitly stated on the marksheet. Degrees obtained through correspondence, part-time, open university, open learning, external, or distance learning modes are not eligible.

Experience

A minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience in Information Security functions is required. This experience must have been gained at a Scheduled Commercial Bank, an All India Financial Institution, or any other reputed organisation. Experience must be accrued as on the last date of application (14 June 2026).

Preferred Certifications

Candidates holding any one of the following certifications will be given preference during the selection process: CISA, CISM, CISSP, OSCP, CEH, CISP, CRTP, CCNA, CCNP, ISO 27001:2022 LA/LI, or CompTIA Security+.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 21 and 28 years of age as on 01 May 2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms for OBC (NCL) and other reserved categories.

OBC (NCL) Certificate Note

OBC candidates must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate explicitly excluding them from the creamy layer benefit, issued within one year prior to the last application date. The caste name must match the Central Government's official list exactly.

Selection Process

The selection methodology comprises two stages, with a combined merit weightage:

  1. Written Test – Professional Knowledge (Objective Type): Candidates will be assessed on their domain knowledge in Information Security. This stage carries a weightage of 70% in the final merit list. The tentative examination month is July 2026.
  2. Personal Interview: Candidates shortlisted from the Written Test will be called for a Personal Interview, carrying a weightage of 30%. Interviews will be conducted at Mumbai and New Delhi only.

Final selection will be based on combined performance across both stages, subject to the candidate meeting all eligibility norms.

Pay Scale & Benefits

The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 48,480 – 2,000 – 62,480 – 2,340 – 67,160 – 2,680 – 85,920. The approximate CTC at the entry level of this pay scale is Rs. 18 lakh per annum, in addition to other admissible perquisites and benefits as per Exim Bank's service rules.
