Central Bank of India (CBI) has announced the recruitment of one Counselor for its Financial Literacy Centre (FLC) located in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: A graduate degree in any stream from a university recognised by the government is mandatory. Candidates must also be computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office applications, internet usage, and local language typing.
  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in the local language (Marathi) for effective communication with the community is essential.
  • Preferred Profiles: Retired or VRS-opted officers of Scale I and above from any nationalised bank, State Bank of India, or Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) are given preference. Ex-servicemen or individuals with banking knowledge who have completed the relevant IIBF certification course are also eligible.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of service as an officer or permanent employee with a clean and unblemished track record is required.
  • Residential Requirement: The applicant must be a resident of Jalgaon District, Maharashtra.
  • Age Limit: Candidates must be between 45 and 65 years of age at the time of application.

Salary & Compensation

The selected Counselor will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹25,000, along with an additional conveyance and mobile allowance of ₹1,000 per month. This is a contractual appointment with no other perquisites applicable.

Selection Process

The selection for the Counselor post will be conducted through a Personal Interview. Candidates whose applications are found complete and eligible will be called for the interview at a date and venue communicated by the bank. No written examination is involved in this recruitment.
