Important: OBC candidates belonging to the creamy layer or whose caste is not included in the Central List must apply under the General/UR category. EWS applicants must possess a valid Income and Asset Certificate. No reservation is provided for ex-servicemen in this officers' cadre recruitment.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- A Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university, AND
- A Post Graduate Degree or Diploma with specialisation in Finance (or equivalent), OR
- A professional qualification — CA, CMA, CS, or CFA
Only qualifications awarded by institutions recognised by the Government of India or statutory bodies such as AICTE will be considered valid.
Age Limit (as on 01 June 2026)
- Manager – Credit Analyst: 25 to 30 years
- Senior Manager (both streams): 28 to 35 years
- Chief Manager (both streams): 32 to 42 years
Standard government-prescribed age relaxations apply for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and other eligible categories.
Work Experience
Experience requirements scale with seniority, ranging from 3 years at the Manager level to 8 years at the Chief Manager level. The following conditions apply to all posts:
- Experience of less than 6 months with any single employer as of 1 June 2026 will not be counted towards eligibility, unless it is the candidate's current employment.
- Service rendered in a clerical cadre capacity will not be recognised as qualifying experience under any circumstances.
Nationality
Indian citizens may apply. Candidates of Nepali or Bhutanese origin, Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before 1 January 1962, and persons of Indian origin who have migrated from specified countries may also be eligible, subject to the production of a Government of India eligibility certificate where required.
Posting Condition
Candidates must be prepared to serve at any location across India. The bank reserves the right to post selected officers to any branch, office, or subsidiary at its sole discretion.
Selection Process
Bank of Baroda has not yet announced a detailed selection methodology for this recruitment cycle. Based on standard BOB practice for specialist officer roles, the selection process is expected to include:
