In addition to basic pay, officers receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), medical benefits, and other perquisites as per the rules of the allotted Participating Bank in force from time to time.

SC/ST/OBC(NCL) relaxation may be applied cumulatively with only one other remaining category (PwBD or Ex-Serviceman). OBC certificate must contain a non-creamy layer clause, issued on or after 01.04.2026. EWS certificate must be valid for FY 2025-26.
Educational Qualification (as on 21.07.2026)
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Government of India, or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
- •The final result must have been declared on or before 21.07.2026.
- •CGPA / OGPA must be converted to percentage as per the norms adopted by the University / Institute. Documentary proof of the conversion formula must be produced at the time of Interview.
- •Rounding-off rule: 59.99% is treated as less than 60%, and 54.99% is treated as less than 55%. Fractions of percentage are ignored.

The descriptive paper may broadly cover Economic and Social issues, emerging trends in Banking and Technology, Current Events, and Ethics. It may be evaluated by an automated scoring mechanism. Total Main Examination duration: 3 hours 10 minutes.
Negative Marking Rule
For every wrong answer in the objective tests (both Preliminary and Main), 0.25 marks (one-fourth of the marks assigned) are deducted as penalty. Unanswered questions carry no penalty. Attempt strategically.
Personality Test & Interview — Final Stage

Edit Window — Application Modification
- •Available for 2 days after the close of registration. Exact dates will be notified on ibps.in.
- •Correction fee: ₹200/- (uniform for all categories), non-refundable.
- •Fields that cannot be changed even in Edit Window: Name, Email ID, Mobile Number, State/UT, Permanent Address, Post, Nationality.
- •Category change rule: GEN/EWS/OBC candidates can change to SC/ST/PwBD. SC/ST/PwBD can only change within SC/ST/PwBD. Fee difference is not refunded.
