Bank of Baroda Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Overview

Bank of Baroda has officially released Advertisement No. BOB/HRM/APPRENTICE/ADVT/2026/01 dated 19/05/2026 for engagement of 5000 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The recruitment is conducted by BFSI Sector Skill Council of India (BFSI SSC). Apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹15,000 per month for a 12-month On-the-Job Training period.

Important: This is NOT regular or contract employment. Apprentices will be trainees only and will have no right to claim employment in the Bank after completion of training.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognised University or equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government. For NATS-registered candidates, date of passing graduation must not be more than 4 years prior to 01-05-2026.

Prior Apprenticeship / Work Experience

Candidates who have previously undergone apprenticeship with Bank of Baroda or any other establishment, or who are currently undergoing apprenticeship with any organisation, are NOT eligible. Candidates with 1 year or more of training/job experience after completing their educational qualification are also NOT eligible.

Minimum: 20 years | Maximum: 28 years. NAPS-registered candidates must be below 34 years.

Duration: 60 minutes. No negative marking. Exam is remotely proctored — candidates can appear from any location using a smart mobile/laptop/desktop/tablet with front camera, microphone, and stable Wi-Fi. SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates get 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.

Stage 2 – Document Verification

Qualifying candidates will be called to a Bank-designated centre in the State/UT applied for, at their own expense.

Stage 3 – Test of Local Language

State-wise local language test is mandatory. Candidates who studied the specified local language at 10th/12th level are exempt. See official notification for State-wise language list.

How to Apply

  1. First, register on NATS (nats.education.gov.in) and/or NAPS (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).
  2. After NATS/NAPS registration, you will receive an email from info@bfsissc.com with the link to the Application cum Examination Form.
  3. Fill the form, choose State/UT and up to 3 preferred training locations, and pay the applicable fee online.
  4. Registration is complete only after successful fee payment to BFSI SSC.

  • Colour scan of Aadhaar Card – Front & Back (JPEG, <1 MB)
  • Colour scan of PAN Card (JPEG, <1 MB)
  • Valid personal email ID and mobile number
  • Passport-size photograph (JPEG, <1 MB)
  • Xth, XIIth Marksheets and Degree Marksheet / Provisional Certificate (PDF, <1 MB each)
  • Saving Bank Passbook / Cheque Leaf (PDF, <1 MB)
  • Signature scan (JPEG, <1 MB)

  • No transport, hostel, or residential accommodation will be provided.
  • OBC Creamy Layer candidates must apply as General category.
  • Change of category once submitted will not be permitted.
  • Submit only one application — multiple submissions result in forfeiture of earlier fee paid.
  • No Ex-servicemen reservation under this engagement.
  • Legal jurisdiction for any dispute: Mumbai only.
